Minutes from our June 23, 2008 Special Communication
Scholarship Presentation Night 2008

At 6 PM, Junior Warden Scites called the guests to refreshment. Cindy’s kitchen served spaghetti and meat balls with assorted vegetables.

At 6:50 PM, Marshall Armstrong assembled the scholarship recipients in the anteroom while Stewards Clinnin and Gerszewski helped the guests find their seats in the Lodge Room.

At 7:00 PM, Junior Warden Scites called the guests together for the presentation at the order of the Worshipful Master.

The Lodge was opened in Public Form with the following officers presiding:

Worshipful Master was Worshipful Brother Dan Gerszewski.
Senior Warden was Past Master Art McGlothlin.
Junior Warden was Past Master Joe Scites.
Senior Steward was Brother Mike Clinnin.
Junior Steward was Brother Mike Gerszewski.
Marshal was Past Master Joshua Armstrong.
Chaplain was Brother Herman Manske.

There were 10 brethren and several guests in attendance. Our distinguished guests this evening were Ms. Kelly Anderson, Ms. Elyse Beier, and Mr. Jonathan Kruschke.

Worshipful Master Gerszewski welcomed the guests to the scholarship presentation and spoke about his own college experience. He then called for Marshal Armstrong to present the scholarship recipients before the Brethren and Guests.

Worshipful Master Gerszewski called each, in turn, to the altar to ask them some questions about their intentions, then to the East to present the scholarship checks and certificates. Each was given an opportunity to speak and each family was given an opportunity to take pictures before the recipients were escorted back to their families.

Worshipful Master Gerszewski then closed the Lodge in Public Form and dismissed the Brethren and Guests.
