Officers:

Worshipful Master

Senior Warden

Marshall

Steward(s)

 

Stewards MUST wear jewels during dinner so all may see that
they are ready to assist with the dinner. All other officers MAY wear jewels. Aprons are NOT worn during dinner.

 

Five chairs are set before the altar in a straight line.

 

The Junior Warden Calls the Craft and Guests to refreshment
at 6 PM.The Chaplain says a brief
prayer before dinner is served.The
Stewards assist with seating the guests and providing condiments.

 

Five minutes before 7, the Marshall gathers the honorees in
the hallway outside of the Lodge Room. Officers don white aprons.
Officers MAY wear jewels.Other
Brethren MAY wear aprons.The officers
are seated:

 

WM in usual spot

SW in usual spot

JW in usual spot

Chaplain in usual spot

Senior Steward in Junior Deacon’s spot

Junior Steward in Counselor’s spot or furthest west seat on
North sideline

 

After all are seated, the officers (except Marshall) open
Lodge in Public Form.After Lodge is
opened, the Worshipful Master asks the Marshall to present the honorees before
the Lodge.The Marshall leads them in
file to the chairs.All are seated in
unison.

 

 

After some brief words, the Worshipful Master asks the Marshall
(who stands to the northwest side of the Altar) to present each recipient in
turn before the altar.

While the honoree is at the altar, the Stewards come forward
and remove the empty chair from the Lodge room. Worshipful Master asks recipient name, high school, college, and
course of study.When satisfied,
Worshipful Master asks Marshall to present the recipient in the east
Master then presents certificate and check and
congratulates recipient.Master then
gives the recipient an opportunity to say a few words.
When Master dismisses the recipient, the
Marshall escorts the recipient to the sidelines to sit with his or her
family.This paragraph is repeated for
each recipient.

 

After all honorees have received their certificates and
checks and the Master has congratulated them once again, the Master moves to
close.
